It’s Raining Buffs
Nothing’s going to spoil our Fifth Anniversary Party--not even the
weather. Even when it rains in the month of May, it’ll be awesome
because it’s going to be raining GM Buffs in every major town every
weekend for 30 seconds, three times a day! This will be true on the day
of the anniversary, May 11th too, of course!
But make sure to visit your favorite town a little before the below
times because you’ll only get the buff if you’re already in town when it
begins to rain!

Spring is in full swing in MapleStory and that means warm weather, blue
skies, gentle showers, and rainbows!
During Rainbow week you’ll be able to complete a quest each day to
collect seven different colored crayons, one for each colored day of
Rainbow Week. Simply collect all the crayons and complete the Rainbow
Picture with Gaga and you’ll be able to collect this beautiful Cloud
Robe!
But that’s not all! When you log in every day during Rainbow Week,
you’ll be able to pick up a special task from Cassandra in order to pick
up some awesome rewards.
Evan grew up as a hard-working pig farmer and knows well that Saturdays
and Sundays are precious! To make sure his fellow Maplers have the
chance to really enjoy their weekend, he wants to celebrate with four
weekends of 2x EXP and 2x Drops!
Check the schedule below and prepare yourself for the best weekends
ever!
Spring has sprung in Maple World! It’s that time of year when goodie
baskets filled with eggs are hidden around every corner. The difference
in Maple World is that you know exactly where to find them--in Gachapon!
Well with the coming of Spring, Gachapon’s been updated with all sorts
of neat new things for you to enjoy. Try sitting on this Easter Egg
Basket chair for a sweet thrill of happiness that’s only available until
April 20!
Of course the biggest egg hatching this season is the Onyx Dragon egg
that starts the career of MapleStory’s newest heroes! Dragon Master
Evans will definitely have a reason to pick up some Gachapon tickets
because special Dragon Glasses Scrolls that make the Dragon Glasses*
even more powerful can now be found in Gachapon along with 50% and 100%
Magician scrolls!
Click here to see the entire list of added
scrolls. *Click here for more info on Dragon Glasses.
And what an Evan really needs is cool equipments for their Onyx Dragon.
That’s why there are Growth Items for your Onyx Dragon that enhance its
already formidable powers!
And when your Evan wants to relax, why not sit down in an Inferno or
Abyss Dragon Chair?
Evan found a dragon egg chasing after a piglet. He took care of that egg
every day and night until it finally hatched. The rest, as they say, is
Maple history.
Do you have the kind of heart and dedication Evan does? Visit Cassandra
to receive a Mini -Dragon Egg to care for. To take care of it, just stay
logged in for one full hour to not only to witness the hatching of a
dragon but to take a crack at Cassandra’s quiz. Answer her questions
correctly and she’ll give you a gift box that contains a random prize.
Inside that box lie some amazing prizes including a TV, Netbooks, iPods,
various functional Cash Shop items, and pieces of Onyx Dragons. Onyx
Dragon parts can be collected and traded with Maple Admin for a Dragon
Treasure Chest that contains awesome in-game items like Maple weapons,
scrolls, and two new Evan chairs.

Onyx Dragon Treasure Chest, click here.
Evan is coming and he’s looking for other brave Dragon Masters to blaze a
trail of peace and justice across Maple World! Do you think you’ve got
what it takes?
From March 31 through May 5, 2010, your Evan can take part in the
Trailblazer Evan event! What do you need to do? Simple enough--level up
to 10, make the first job advancement, hack and slash monsters, and
acquire "Evan’s Sweat Droplets.” Acquire enough of the tangible evidence
of Evan’s hard work and you can turn them in to Cassandra for an
awesome series of ever-escalating medals that offer EXP bonuses and
potion discounts when equipped by an Evan.
Blazing a trail is rewarding work but you must take one step at a time.
If you want the Beginner Evan Medal, you must first complete the quest
required for Confused Evan Medal. If you want the Confident Evan Medal,
you must complete the quest required for Beginner Evan Medal. Work hard
enough to earn 3,000 Sweat Droplets and an Elite Evan Medal, and you
have a tough call to make--choosing between the 60-day "Evan’s
Trailblazer Medal,” and the permanent "Evan’s Eternal Trailblazer
Medal.” Choose wisely because once you complete the quest to acquire
either medals you can’t repeat the quest to get the other.
Tip: Sweat Droplets are tradable so if you have trouble earning them,
make a trade with another Mapler or stop by the Free Market and see if
anyone’s offering to sell theirs.
The work of a Dragon Master is hard, but hard work does have its
rewards!
